An exceptional 6 week Pilates exercise programme suitable for new mums who want to get back in to shape after giving birth and also for those who are new to Pilates exercises or post injury. This programme will strengthen back abdominal muscles, help you regain core and pelvic floor control and improve your posture.
Postnatal Pilates classes are all about striking a balance. Along with a great workout comes support, encouragement and the reassurance you need when you are introducing or returning to physical activity.
Over the duration of the course you will receive weekly handouts with exercises, tips and recipes for healthy snacks to keep you right on track to getting the body you want.
Suitable for beginners and postnatally from 6 weeks check-up for normal delivery and 8/10 weeks for caesarean delivery.

For new members, a private one to one assessment must be booked with your instructor who is also a Chartered Physiotherapist in Women's Health. Assessments must be booked prior to the course commencement date.
About Your Assessment:
Our Prenatal Physiolates Assessment is a 20 minute appointment with your Pilates Physiotherapist.
You will be asked to fill in a consultation form that will give your instructor/ physiotherapist more details about:
-Your health and wellbeing
-Current and previous pregnancy/pregnancies
-Current and previous injury history
-Your reasons for wanting to start Physiolates, and your goals
In the assessment, you will be asked to perform some basic movements and your instructor/physiotherapist will also perform a series of simple tests to check mobility and stability of specific joints. They will look at your posture and your ability to use or 'switch on' certain muscles. You will also be assessed for any separation of the abdominal muscles.
This assessment gives your instructor/physiotherapist a much clearer idea of the type of exercises that will suit you and allows them to gauge the best starting point for you.
We ask that you wear comfortable clothing to the assessment which will allow you to move.
